Indira Gandhi was the first female prime minister of India and of any country with a prime minister serving fifteen years From 1966-1977 consecutively and 1980-1984 when she was assassination.
She joined in with the Independence of India. She was born in the Nehru Dynasty. In 1940 she had a chronic lung disease she went to Switzerland to cover.
